4 steps from chat to calendar entry

1

Forward event details to Günther

Forward emails, WhatsApp messages, or notes with date/time/location to Günther — even unstructured. Example: 'Tomorrow 3 pm dentist'. Günther extracts the relevant fields.

2

Receive a structured reply

Günther replies with ISO date, time, timezone, and location — plus a Quick Add syntax like 'Dentist on 2026-04-15 15:00'. All directly copyable.

3

Paste into Google Calendar 'Quick Add'

In the Calendar app or on the web: click '+' and paste the copied text. Google recognizes date, time, and title automatically and creates the event.

4

Optional: generate invite copy

Ask Günther for an email body with agenda and access details. Paste this into the Calendar invite body or send it via WhatsApp to participants directly.

What you get

  • Less typing for recurring appointments
  • Standardized timezone handling (avoids noon-in-two-cities confusion)
  • Fewer double bookings through consistent filing
  • Voice-first possible — dictate events by voice memo
  • Works with any calendar that supports text import

Pricing

Günther: text chat is unlimited on every tier (FREE, BASIC, PREMIUM) — event extraction costs no extra quota. Google Calendar: free.

FAQs

Why no direct Calendar connector?

An OAuth connector would require permanent access to your calendar. We keep it intentionally open — you decide which events land in the calendar. More GDPR-friendly than auto-sync.

How does Google's Quick Add work?

Calendar web: click '+' → type text like 'Meeting with Anna tomorrow 10 am'. Calendar detects date, time, and title. Günther delivers exactly this syntax on request.

Does this also work with Apple or Outlook?

Yes. Apple Calendar and Outlook have similar quick-entry mechanisms. Günther can also produce .ics content if you ask — attach it as a file.

Can Günther create recurring events?

Günther describes repetition in text ('every Tuesday', 'monthly on the 1st'). For the recurrence rule in Calendar you set it once manually — but the base data is already clean.

What about event data from emails?

Forward the email as text to Günther or copy the relevant section. Günther extracts date, time, location, and participants — even from long or multilingual emails.
